I’m a wife and mother of 5 boys, a wonderful stepdaughter, and a rescued dog. We live outside of Nashville, TN and just about every flat surface in our house is taken up with book, athletic equipment, legos and a (quite possibly) a little dog hair.
What I do . . .
I'm the author of Breaking Busy: How to Find Peace and Purpose in a World of Crazy.
I serve as the Executive Director of Propel Women, a leadership initiative founded by Christine and Nick Caine.
I do business coaching and consulting for individuals, small businesses and Fortune 500 companies. Apply for coaching here.
Who doesn’t love a good rags to riches story? Yep, that’s how it started for me.
Ten years ago, we lost everything when my husband’s job came to a sudden and drastic end. That’s when I got very, very serious about figuring out how to create a business on the Internet and started my own online business.
I have co-founded BlissDom and BlissDom Canada, the single largest international women’s small business conference in the world (now that was a mouthful!) I also co-founded and served as the CCO (Chief Creative Officer) of Blissful Media Group. And it all started when I founded the magazine for women, Blissfully Domestic.
Through these major events, I’ve helped thousands of men and women start successful businesses online. I was a consultant and strategist who has worked with and advised Fortune 500 companies and small businesses, from tech companies to your favorite household brands.
My book, Breaking Busy, has helped thousands of women break out of cycles of busyness and find purpose and happiness in this crazy world.
I have the great honor of speaking at conferences, church events, business conferences and women's retreats. Find out how we can work together here.
You might have seen me . . .
I was featured in the books “Good Enough Is the New Perfect” and “The Catalyst Leader: 8 Essentials for Becoming a Change Maker‘ as one of the top 50 Young Leaders in the Nation.
In addition, I was a featured entrepreneur in Sheryl Sandberg’s site, “Lean In.”
And, there was that time I told the world I was over all the self-imposed stress we put on ourselves on The Today Show-
And one more time on the Today Show promoting parental sanity :)
