In addition to his recording career, he has more than 130 songwriting credits, including cuts by Rascal Flatts, Michael W. Smith, and Casting Crowns. He has also written multiple books, including his recent release, The God Who Stays. Matthew is also the husband of Emily and the father of two daughters.
