Have you ever wondered how to actually hear God? You’re not alone, friend! And today’s episode is going to prove that. Pete Greig is with me to talk about one of the most important topics we’ve ever covered on the show.
We talk about why hearing God talk to us is so challenging for some and how to tell when the signs that what we think we hear are not actually God’s word. We also dive into his new book, “ How To Hear God: A Simple Guide For Normal People” and why it is so important for Christians to learn how to sort through delusion and deception.
This is such an awesome conversation, I just can’t wait for you to listen to it.
Pete has committed his life to helping people hear the voice of God and facilitating the supernatural outpouring of His word and truth throughout the world. In addition to being a best-selling author, Greig is one of the founding champions of the earth-rattling 24-7 Prayer Movement and Senior Pastor of Emmaus Road Church in the south of England.

Ask yourself : a) Is this affirming? b) Is it Biblical? c) Is it Christlike?
We need to hear God in community. (Col 1:27)
We often need to discern God’s will with other people, not just our own.
It is weird how weird we get about God, considering by definition, if He is the creator of normality then He has the right to inhabit normality.
One of the keys to hearing God is to learn to slow down, Be still and tune in to the things He is whispering to us in the normality of our lives.
We all have times when we can no longer see God, hear God or feel God the way we did before. It is not His absence it is His presence manifested in a new way and He is doing it to mature us , grow us and teach us some new skills. It wont go on forever but hang in there and you will return to a season where you will Hear God the way you used to.
