I’m proud to announce this month’s group of Women Worth Following – inspiring women you’ll want to get to know! Every month I feature nine awesome women who are changing the world. I can’t wait for you to check out these amazing women, and don’t forget to follow them too!
Kathy works as an Education and Development Specialist in the corporate world, while she writes, speaks, and mentors at KathyButryn.com. As a writer and teacher, Kathryn mentors women who desire to grow deeper in their faith and daily walk with Jesus on the hot pavement of their ordinary everyday. Her heart and joy is to mentor women by sharing quiet reminders and lessons learned while living the ordinary of everyday life in the all-sufficient grace of God.
Kathryn and her husband, Alan, have been married for 38 years. They have three grown children and six grands whom she loves to pieces!
Manouchka Charles (ma-noo-shka) lives in Miami but is a Brooklyn girl through and through.
She is a pastor at VOUS Church whose mission is to bring those who are far from God close to God. She has the privilege of connecting people to church and helping them discover their purpose. Her passions are Jesus, food, music, writing, and people. Manouchka wants to share her passions and she wants to help others discover theirs.
Preethi’s family of 7 feels passionately about learning through exploring, both when they are home in the Bay Area, as well as all over the world. To date, she has traveled to 62 countries – 43 of those with kids in tow! They’ve lived across the East and West coasts of the United States in 49 states.
Travel has been eye-opening in terms of culture, food, lifestyles, the arts, and mostly the people. She hopes to inspire curiosity and connection, and to help others do that, she loves sharing tips, tricks, and itineraries.
However, she and her family don’t think travel is the only way to inspire global education. They firmly believe learning about the world can be wonderful for all families, even when exploring from home.
Alexandra is a wife, mother, Bible teacher, and writer who’s passionate about communicating the love of Jesus – whether it be through writing or speaking, online or in person. Finding out how much she was truly loved by Christ changed the way she lives.
Her heart has always been simple when it comes to spurring others on to Christ. She started using her words because of an unshakeable conviction to help people know that in Christ they have the gift of redemption, revival, and purpose right where they are.
Alexandra lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband Mario, and their three kids–Leilla, Kingston, and Sophia–living on-mission, right where God has her.
Combining her expertise in project management with her love for the creative’s heart, Christa equips busy Christian women who have big ideas with strategy and structure so they can do what God has called them to do. She is passionate about teaching women to find practical application of the Bible in their personal, professional and ministry lives. Through her podcast Just One Simple Thing, group program, and accountability coaching, Christa starts in God’s Word and digs into her toolbox to offer solutions for the big problems keeping people stuck and bring clarity to the chaotic swirl of ideas.
Christa lives in Louisiana with her husband in their delightfully empty nest.

“You can have all of me…I’m yours” is more than just a lyric from her chart-topping album “The Truth” – it is the recurring theme of her life’s story. Casey J, Atlanta native, and former elementary school educator, found that a sincere “YES” to God would bring her from teaching behind a desk to worshipping in front of thousands, leading them to encounter the same love that changed her life.
In 2015 her breakout single “Fill Me Up” landed Billboard’s #1 spot for Gospel Airplay – an accomplishment quickly achieved by her follow-up single “I’m Yours”. Her debut album, “The Truth” earned a Stellar Award for New Artist of the Year in 2016 and multiple Dove Award nominations. Casey’s upcoming and anticipated project is entitled “The Stories We Sing” and was birthed from a place of empathy during a time of civil unrest and global devastation.
If asked, Casey will tell you that the most beautiful part of her journey has been continuing to say YES to God and relying on Him for the audacity to show up imperfectly in the spaces He’s predestined while daring others to do the same.
During her career, Anna has worked with a wide range of organizations ranging from government departments and household brands, to community organizations, churches, and the not-for-profit sector.
Anna is a miscarriage warrior, a coffee lover, bookworm, travel enthusiast, music fan, keen foodie, a gatherer of people, and a big believer in the healing power of words. The busyness of life became the inspiration for Anna’s first published book, Sand Between Your Toes, which explores how to live a slower, simpler, and more soulful life.
She is married to Andy, who runs his own music promotion and management business, and is mum to their 5-year-old son Ben. They live in the beautiful waterfront city of Liverpool, England.
Kia Stephens is a wife and mom of two who is passionate about helping women know God as Father. For this reason, she created The Father Swap Blog to help women exchange their father wounds for the love of God the Father. Kia is also the founder of Entrusted Women, which she created to equip Christian women communicators of color. In addition to these ministries, Kia faithfully serves in Bible Study Fellowship and her local church in Atlanta, Georgia.
When Kia is not writing or serving women, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Kia will be releasing her first book, Overcoming Father Wounds, in the spring of 2023.

Jennifer believes that you can do it all, just not by yourself. Through her website and podcast, This Mom Knows, she coaches and encourages mompreneurs to find the right systems, tools, and people – their Mom Team – to help and support them so they can be their best as both “mom” and “entrepreneur”.
Jenn is very familiar with trying to juggle and do all the things herself but too often found that it was at the expense of her family, especially relationship with her kids. She hit a breaking point five years ago when she and her husband experienced a surprise adoption of a sibling set (100% unexpected – you can hear about it on her podcast). This started her down a life-giving path of transformation as she learned how to ask for help, offer help, and lean into systems to simplify and create space in her own life – and she wants to help you do that, too.
She and her family have recently left the hustle and bustle of the Chicagoland area and are enjoying discovering their new hometown in Northwest Indiana.
