Women Worth Following – Inspiring Women You’ll Want to Get to Know
I’m proud to announce this month’s group of Women Worth Following – inspiring women you’ll want to get to know! Every month I feature nine awesome women who are changing the world. I can’t wait for you to check out these amazing women, and don’t forget to follow them too!
Katie Blackburn
Katie is married to Alex. Their six loves are Harper Kristin, Cannon Lee, Jordi Daniel, Ava Honor – who came to them through the foster care system in October 2018, Beckett Alexander, and Braylen Kai. Six babes, eight and under, and they could not love their crazy life with them more.
In October of 2016, Cannon was diagnosed with autism, and it messed Katie up enough to get real clear with Jesus about what something so ‘wrong’ could mean about a God who always does right. But like He always does, Jesus showed up in her shakiest places and steadied her footing for the journey He has asked them to walk. She won’t tell you it is easy, but she will tell you that for the first time in her life, she is truly learning what grace for grace (John 1:16) really means.
She writes because the most sense she can make of the world comes through two things: knowing Jesus and putting words on paper. So that’s what she does on her blog: she writes about her faith, her family, her community, and figuring out how to live into a life that is all for God’s glory.
Denisse Copeland
Denisse Copeland was born and raised by a single mother in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Her upbringing offered little stability, and Denisse soon found herself on a seemingly endless quest to find love and acceptance. It wasn’t until Jesus shook her world that she truly found what she was looking for. Now a mother of four living in Oklahoma City, Denisse works alongside her husband, Rashawn Copeland, as an online minister and evangelist. Their ministry reaches more than 6 million people every year.
Abigail Houston
Abigail is the creator behind Melodically Memorizing, an average twenty-something desiring to know God accurately through his Word and make him known by encouraging others do the same. She has walked with Jesus for a little more than fifteen years, yet Scripture memory used to be one of her weakest spiritual disciplines. Though she knew the importance of Scripture memory, and wanted to make it a regular practice, she otherwise has the memory of a goldfish, so she struggled to find an effective and efficient way to memorize and make it stick.
She prays that through Melodically Memorizing, you would be pointed to the Almighty God, our creator, sustainer, author of truth and righteousness, alpha and omega, first and last, beginning and the end, see His beauty, His love for you, His hate for sin, His hand of redemption, and His magnificent glory. She prays your heart, like hers has, would be stirred to know and to love Christ Jesus more and more, one melody at a time.

Annah Mutombeni
Annah is a faith based life coach, youth leader and homeschool mum passionate about God. She grew up in a Christian home learning about God but never truly understood who he was to her until she was older. As a youth trying to find her purpose and identity, she went through many challenges such as depression, abuse and an identity crisis that led her back to God. Her healing did not happen overnight and is why she now offers spiritual support.
She currently uses her own story to help young women struggling with identity, rejection, depression, and finding their purpose through her coaching. She believes we are called to serve and God blesses us to bless others. She also shares her motherhood homeschooling journey through her Instagram page. She is an avid reader and enjoys traveling with her family.
Annah lives west of the city of Sydney with her husband and their three adorable children. She is naturally outgoing and always ready to strike up a conversation.
