Apply for Coaching
There was a time when I felt completely burnt out, like I had nothing left to give. It was early 2021, the height of the pandemic. Life was upside down, and I was struggling. My husband, who battles a chronic illness, wasn’t doing well, and two of my boys were suffering from debilitating migraines. The weight of it all was crushing. I was overwhelmed and exhausted, unable to find joy in life or work.
I was desperate, praying for guidance, and in that moment, I felt God’s presence telling me one clear thing: Get help. It was like everything around that simple command illuminated. I realized it was time to take action—to reach out for the support I so desperately needed.
Here’s how I turned my life around and why you might want to do the same.
One of the first things I did was rehire my business coach. I had forgotten the simple truth: you always go further, faster with a coach. A good coach provides accountability and strategic insight and helps you brainstorm ideas that push you beyond your limits.
I realized that even though I had years of experience, I still needed someone to help me sharpen my focus, balance my work and personal life, and set clear goals. It’s easy to believe that you can do it all on your own, but having a coach helps you grow exponentially. Yes, it’s an investment, but it pays for itself many times over.
If you’ve been on the fence about hiring a coach, I can tell you from experience it’s worth every penny. The right coach will help you make more money, achieve your goals faster, and live a more balanced life.
The next step was getting myself back into therapy. I had so many emotions that I needed to process—the stress of my husband’s illness, my children’s health struggles, and the weight of trying to keep it all together. Therapy helped me unpack everything and gave me tools to cope with the emotional rollercoaster.
We often hesitate to spend money on therapy because we think we can handle it on our own or because we’re waiting for the “right” time. But that perfect time never comes. The longer we wait, the more we burden ourselves and those around us. Therapy isn’t just an investment in you; it’s an investment in everyone you love because when you’re healthy, they benefit, too.
Finally, I made the decision to hire help at home. With the pandemic, I had avoided bringing anyone into the house due to concerns about my husband’s fragile health. But by early 2021, I knew I couldn’t do it all anymore. I needed help, and that meant letting go of the guilt of not doing everything myself.
Many women, especially successful ones, feel guilty about hiring household help. We believe we should be able to do it all—manage our homes, our careers, and our families. But the truth is, we only have so much time and energy. We need to prioritize what matters most. It wasn’t spending hours chopping vegetables or cleaning the house for me. My time was better spent on my business and taking care of myself.
Letting go of that guilt was one of the best things I did for my emotional health.
Pride says, I can do it all by myself. Fear says, I don’t want to spend the money, or what if it doesn’t work out?
These two things stop us from getting the help we need. Whether it’s a business coach, a therapist, or someone to help with the household, pride and fear often hold us back from investing in ourselves. But if we don’t take action, we stay stuck.
If this resonates with you, I encourage you to pray and think about what help you need in your life right now. Is it a business coach? A health coach? Therapy? Household support? Whatever it is, take that next step.
I challenge you to commit to getting help in the next seven days. Take action, whether it’s reaching out to a coach or a therapist, or hiring someone to assist with the household. I guarantee that you’ll start seeing progress a month from now. In three months, you’ll feel like a new person. And a year from now, you’ll wonder why you waited so long.
One of my greatest joys as a coach is celebrating my clients’ progress. I love seeing how far they’ve come—whether they’ve landed a promotion, doubled their income, or finally achieved a healthy work-life balance. And it all starts with making that decision to get help.
The story of how I got my life together is about listening to the call for help, letting go of pride and fear, and taking action. If this message speaks to you, don’t wait. Invest in yourself today because when you take care of yourself, everyone around you benefits.
I’d love to hear from you! Reach out and share your progress. You deserve to live your best life, and I’m here cheering you on every step of the way.
Remember, taking care of your spiritual, business, and emotional health benefits you and everyone around you.
You can’t break a woman who gets her strength from God! Keep going, keep growing, and keep investing in yourself.
