Today, I’m joined by my wonderful friend Jen Fulwiler and she’s sharing the jaw-dropping story of how she started pursuing her dreams of writing and of stand up comedy.
She shares so many lessons from her journey that will inspire us to fall in love with our bomb moments, find the gifts that truly set us aflame, and stop seeing our life-giving passions as “extra work.” Jen is so bold and brave and I’m so excited for the belly laughs and deep truths she’s bringing us today.
We also chat about:
How she became wildly popular in a certain country in Europe
What is a “blue flame” passion and how do we find it?
The defining thing about a blue flame is that it’s not about you. It’s about adding light and love to the world, but it fills you with energy when you use it.
I believe and continue to believe, to this day that using these gifts using my blue flame is a favor to my family. I feel like I did my kids and my family a favor by making space in my life for my writing work, which turned into my radio work, which turned into comedy.
One of the ways you get confirmation that this is the right path is that you have these little signal graces. These things that come together that are beyond coincidence. When it seems like God is clearing your path.
