Monique has a background in social service and children’s ministry. She has worked with a diverse array of under-served communities, both in her home town of Los Angeles, CA, and as a missionary in Cape Town, South Africa.
After advocating for Critical Race Theory (CRT) for more than two decades, Monique experienced a series of events that revealed the contradictions between CRT and the historic Christian worldview.
She founded the Center for Biblical Unity to lead respectful and Bible-centered conversations on race, justice, and unity. Monique earned her B.A. in Sociology from Biola University and is currently working on a M.A. in Theology.

Maya is a singer-songwriter, inspirational-soul artist and worship leader whose multi-faceted creativity revolves around healing, truth and love. She was raised in Baltimore, MD, where she began songwriting at age 6, and started singing in church around age 11.
Maya, who is equal parts analytical and artsy, graduated with a B.B.A. in marketing as the 2016 Valedictorian of Howard University’s School of Business before pursuing a career in music.
She released her first album in 2016, has worked as a full-time church staff worship leader, and currently has a new music project underway. She also “girl-bosses” (verb) as a project manager with GoLive.
Maya prizes being a safe space, a listening ear, and a wisdom-seeker. She is passionate about our need to fill up as we use our gifts in the world around us. As a writer and speaker, Marnie encourages women that freedom isn’t found in perfectly completed checklists, but in knowing God deeper and hearing Him louder.
Marnie is the curator for the Hear Him Louder Essay Series, a writer for The Joyful Life Magazine’s Devotion and Blog Contributor Teams, and a lifetime member of hope*writers.
A wife for 25 years and boy mama (16, 13, & 10), Marnie’s non-writing life revolves around taming the stinky, scraping off the sticky, and distributing boys to the places they go in suburban Cincinnati.
Her favorites are cheering for her boys from soccer sidelines, settling in for family movie night, and laughing with her friends. Loudly. With some cackling.

Tara is a passionate and devoted social media influencer and stay at home mom raising the next generation of adventurous boys! Raised as a Christian, she coasted along in her faith until she tragically lost her husband in a car accident in 2008.
Suddenly alone and left as a single mother of two little boys, God led her through this painful journey, keeping his promise never to leave nor forsake her and brought out of the ashes of her grief, a beauty and zest for life she had never known before.
Out of a desire to help other women thrive in Christ and know His joy no matter what their circumstances were, she began a blog called Rise and Glory. She hopes to inspire others not to be conformed to this world, but to live out gospel truths and watch as Jesus radically impacts every area of their lives.
Tara has since remarried and lives with her husband and four boys who are her greatest and most precious ministry. When Tara isn’t with her family or blogging, you can find her in a DIY project or trying to convince her husband to teach her how to use power tools.
